DATA CATEGORIZATION & ACCESS SUPERBADGE UNIT SOLUTION

Hey Trailblazer, we are here to guide you in earning the Data Categorization and Access Superbadge Unit. You must clear the Data Security, Permission Set Group trailhead to access the Superbadge module. I will help you figure out each Data Categorization and Access Superbadge Unit challenge and how to clear it.


This blog consists of three challenges of the Data Categorization and Access Superbadge Unit, which include:

 

  1. Create New Fields

  2. Configure Field Access

  3. Data Categorization and Access Quiz


Every challenge has an outcome and hints at how to achieve it. It also consists of solving this error, “We can't find the expected configurations for the Service_Plan_PIN__c field on the Account object. Make sure the field has a description and is configured according to the requirements”, “We can't find the expected configurations for the Tax_ID__c field on the Account object. Make sure the field has a description and is configured according to the requirements.”,” We can't find the expected configurations for the Social_Security_Number__c field on the Contact object. Make sure the field has a description and is configured according to the requirements.”, “We can't find the expected configurations for the Closed_Lost_Reason__c field on the Opportunity object. Make sure the field has a description and is configured according to the requirements.”, “We can't find the expected updates to the Account_Management permission set.”,” We can't find the expected account field settings muted in the Sales_Manager permission set group.”, ”We can't find the expected account field settings muted in the Accounting permission set group.”, “We can't find the expected contact field settings muted in the Call_Center_Agent permission set group.”


Challenge 1: Create new fields


We have to create new fields as per the following table:

Note: Add description to all fields.

●  Create a Service Plan PIN Number field in Account

○       Length - 4

○       Description - any

○       Visibility - System Administrator

●  Create Tax ID as text area (Encrypted) in Account

○       Go to mask type - select last four digits

○       Mask character - any

○       Description - any

○       Visibility - System Administrator

●  Create Social Security Number as text area (Encrypted) in Contact

○       Go to mask type - select Social Security Number

○       Mask character - any

○       Description - any

○       Visibility - System Administrator

●   Create Closed Lost Reason as a text area in Opportunity

○       Description - any

○       Visibility - System Administrator


Challenge 2: Configure field access

●       Go to Account Management Permission set

○       Go to Accounts:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Service Plan PIN and Tax ID.

○       Go to Contacts:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Birthdate and Social Security Number.

○       Go to Opportunities:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Closed Lost Reason.

○       Go to Assets:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Serial Number.

●       Go to  Opportunity Management Permission set

○       Go to Accounts:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Service Plan PIN and Tax ID.

○       Go to Contacts:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Birthdate and Social Security Number.

○       Go to Opportunities:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Closed Lost Reason.

○       Go to Assets:

■       Grant Read and Edit access to Serial Number.

●       Go to Account Executive  Muting Permission set group

○       Go to Accounts:

■       Mute Edit access to Service Plan PIN.

■       Mute Read and Edit access to Tax ID.

○       Go to Contacts:

■       Mute Read and Edit access to Social Security Number. 

○       Go to Assets:

■       Mute Edit access to Serial Number. 

○       Go to Sales Manager Muting Permission set group

■       Go to Accounts:

●       Mute Edit access to Service Plan PIN.

●       Mute Read and Edit access to Tax ID.

■       Go to Contacts:

●       Mute Read and Edit access to Social Security Number. 

●       Go to Accounting Muting Permission set group

○       Go to Accounts:

■       Mute Edit access to Service Plan PIN.

○       Go to Contacts:

■       Mute Edit access to Birthdate.

■       Go to Opportunities:

■       Mute Edit access to Closed Lost Reason.

○       Go to Assets:

■       Unmute Edit access to Serial Number.

●       Go to Call Center Agent Muting Permission set group

○       Go to Accounts:

■       Mute Read and Edit access to Tax ID.

○       Go to Contacts:

■       Mute Edit access to Birthdate.

■       Mute Read and Edit access to Social Security Number. 

○       Go to Opportunities:

■       Mute Read and Edit access to Closed Lost Reason.

○       Go to Assets:

■       Mute Edit access to Serial Number.
